The 2026 WFFSA Floral Distribution Conference (FDC) in Miami brought together wholesalers, suppliers, and floral industry professionals for several days of networking, collaboration, and industry discussion. As a Petal Sponsor, CFG was proud to support an event that continues to strengthen relationships across the floral supply chain. The conference provided a great opportunity for our team to reconnect with long-time partners while also meeting new industry professionals interested in learning more about our floral assortment.
Butterfly Ranunculus Takes Center Stage
One of the biggest highlights at our booth this year was Butterfly Ranunculus, which quickly became the star of the show.
“WFFSA 2026 was a great event. Not only did we reconnect with industry partners, but we also met new ones who love our product line and variety,” said Yerandy Palenzuela, VP of Sales at CFG. “Our Butterfly Ranunculus was the star of our show. Everyone who stopped by couldn’t help but admire the beautiful spring colors in our assortment.”
The variety’s unique look and vibrant color range sparked conversations with wholesalers looking for fresh and distinctive offerings for their customers.

Strong Interest in Seasonal Varieties
In addition to Butterfly Ranunculus, several other products drew strong interest from attendees visiting the CFG booth.
Brassica/Kale stood out for its impressive bloom size and unique appearance, making it a memorable product for many visitors.
“The size of the flower alone was a headline,” Palenzuela noted. “Customers were delighted to learn that we’ve extended our crop availability on Brassica to over half the year.”
Other products that generated interest included peonies, eucalyptus, and seasonal greens, highlighting the continued demand for high-quality and versatile floral varieties.

Conversations Shaping the Floral Industry
Beyond product discussions, the conference also provided valuable opportunities to talk with wholesalers about the evolving landscape of the floral distribution industry.
Many conversations centered around industry consolidation and shifting buying behaviors, as wholesalers and suppliers adapt to changes in the marketplace. Events like FDC create an important space for industry professionals to share insights, discuss challenges, and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
Connecting Beyond the Conference
While in Miami for WFFSA, members of the CFG team also attended the Bloom Together Event hosted by New Bloom Solutions, an independent floral industry networking gathering held during the same week as the conference.
The annual event brings together professionals from across the floral supply chain, including growers, wholesalers, importers, and distributors, for an evening focused on community, collaboration, and industry connection.
Although separate from WFFSA, it provided another valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues and continue conversations about innovation, partnerships, and the future of the floral industry.

Supporting the Floral Community
CFG was also proud to participate as a Petal Sponsor at WFFSA, with branded signage displayed throughout the conference venue welcoming attendees and reinforcing our commitment to the floral industry.
The WFFSA Floral Distribution Conference continues to serve as an important gathering point for growers, wholesalers, and suppliers to strengthen relationships and move the industry forward together.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many partners and customers and look forward to continuing these conversations throughout the year.
