Works with timber companies and landowners in WA and OR; ~1.5M seedlings projected in 2026
Field monitoring, inventory, planting audits, road/bridge maintenance, bough harvesting, landowner consulting
Pre-fire mitigation + post-fire rehabilitation; expanding to a dedicated 30-person fire-certified crew
At the heart of Continental Farm and Forest is a commitment to replanting forests with care and intention. We work with large timber companies and regional landowners across Washington and Oregon, approaching each planting project with a focus on survivability rather than speed.
Our teams take the time to place each seedling correctly, knowing that quality planting today leads to healthier forests tomorrow. This approach has built long-term partnerships and continues to expand our reforestation work, with a 2026 forecast of planting approximately 1.5 million seedlings across managed forestlands.
As many timber companies reduce in-house forestry staff, Continental Farm and Forest provides experienced, on-the-ground support to help landowners manage their forests effectively. Our teams assist with field monitoring, inventory work, planting audits, unit planning, and boundary identification.
We also provide practical land management and construction services, including road and bridge maintenance, tree care, minor forest products and bough harvesting, and landowner consulting. Together, this work helps keep properties accessible, productive, and well cared for.
As wildfire risk continues to shape forest stewardship in the Pacific Northwest, our approach emphasizes both prevention and recovery. We work with landowners to implement pre-fire mitigation strategies and provide post-fire rehabilitation services that support long-term forest health and resilience.
Continental Farm and Forest is expanding to a dedicated 30-person, fire-certified crew, supported by experienced equipment operators and a returning seasonal workforce trained year after year. Our teams and equipment are purpose-built for fire-related work, including line construction, debris removal, and maintaining emergency access routes.

Continental Farm and Forest is built on a strong, experienced workforce that returns season after season. Our seasonal crews are the backbone of our operations, supporting the full cycle of work each year. In the spring, they manage planting and reforestation projects. Throughout the year, they handle forest cleanup and land management. During the holiday season, they support Christmas operations while also managing the purchasing and harvesting of material from properties beyond our own.
This consistency allows our teams to build deep familiarity with the land and deliver high-quality work across multiple properties. This year, we are expanding the Farm and Forest team and moving beyond a primarily seasonal model. By taking on projects year-round, we are creating greater continuity for our workforce and applying our experience across a broader range of land management, restoration, and forestry projects.
