Fair Food Program Certification: Committing to Worker Welfare

At Continental Floral Greens, we’re thrilled to announce our recent certification of our California farms under the Fair Food Program! This milestone reflects our commitment to ethical farming and the highest standards in farmworker rights and welfare. Our certification currently covers eucalyptus and other foliage cultivated on our California farms, and we’re already working toward expanding this program to our other farm locations.

What is the Fair Food Program?

The Fair Food Program (FFP) is a unique partnership that brings together farms, retailers, and consumers to promote safe and fair working conditions in agriculture. Founded to improve the lives of farmworkers, the FFP sets rigorous standards, ensuring fair wages, zero tolerance for harassment and abuse, and safe working environments across certified farms. This program is recognized nationally for its transformative impact, providing farmworkers with protections and a platform to voice concerns without fear of retaliation.
