Continental Floral Greens VP of Sales Yerandy Palenzuela recently joined host Sahid Nahim on The Bloom Show to talk about CFG's growth and the culture behind it.

Palenzuela has been with CFG since the beginning, joining back when the company was still Pacific Mountain Products. Nine years ago, he opened CFG's Miami office, which today supports the company's farms across Florida, California, Oregon, and Washington, along with a manufacturing facility in North Carolina.

Palenzuela talked about how CFG's product line has expanded well beyond its core greens business in recent years, with acquisitions and partnerships like Oregon Roses, Hiawatha, and Sun Valley Floral Farms bringing new crops into the fold, from blooming branches to butterfly ranunculus. He also spoke to why greens remain such a valuable part of any floral purchase, adding lasting value to an arrangement long after the flowers themselves are gone.

The conversation also gave a behind the scenes look at CFG's Christmas production, one of the busiest and most demanding stretches of the year, and touched on how the company continues to test new crops and bring up new talent.
