On April 2nd, 2024, Continental Floral Greens proudly joined fellow sponsors and designers to showcase the beauty and significance of American Grown flowers and foliage at the prestigious 112th Congressional Club First Lady’s Luncheon in Washington, D.C.

Celebrating American Grown at the 112th First Lady’s Luncheon

As long-time supporters and a Certified American Grown member, we’re honored to sponsor this event year after year. This luncheon brings together members of Congress, their spouses, and distinguished guests to celebrate unity, service, and tradition—with floral design as a stunning centerpiece of the day.

We’re excited to share the professional photos from the event, beautifully capturing the artistry and impact of this extraordinary floral installation. Among the featured products were our Gunnii, Ranunculus, and Salal, grown with care on our farms and proudly representing American agriculture on a national stage.

Leading the design was the talented Renee Tucci, whose interpretation of this year’s theme, “Sand & Steel,” brought elegance and depth to the space. Renee’s vision was brought to life by a dedicated team of 24 volunteer designers, each contributing their time, talent, and resources to support and promote American flower and foliage farmers.

We are so grateful for their passion and commitment to this cause. Seeing our greens and flowers as part of this powerful display is a meaningful reminder of why supporting American Grown products is more important than ever—for our farmers, our economy, and our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to Renee, the volunteer designers, and our fellow sponsors for making this event possible:

  • DVFlora
  • Mellano & Company
  • CamFlor, Inc.
  • Ocean Breeze Farms CA
  • Ferntrust Inc
  • Green Valley Floral

We’re proud to stand alongside partners who believe in the beauty, quality, and sustainability of American Grown flowers and foliage.

Why Supporting American Grown Matters

Events like the First Lady’s Luncheon aren’t just celebrations—they’re powerful platforms to showcase the craftsmanship, care, and sustainability behind U.S. farms. As global pressures on agriculture increase, choosing American Grown flowers and greens supports local farmers, sustainable practices, and our national economy.

At Continental Floral Greens, we’re committed to growing and sourcing the highest quality foliage right here in the U.S., and sharing their story through events like this inspires us to continue that mission every day.

We’re honored to play a role in this celebration of flowers, farming, and American craftsmanship—and we look forward to many more years of supporting this meaningful tradition.
