We’re always looking for better ways to grow, harvest, and process our products. This is what sets us apart in the industry – our relentless desire to exceed expectations from farm and forest to market.

For example, when we collect our High Mountain Blue Noble® from the slopes of Mount St. Helens, we use helicopters to transfer the boughs from cut to cooler in the fastest way possible. The cool chain is critical for perishable products like ours, and we take great care to ensure that we’re delivering the freshest greens we can.

When you see the purple pipes on our Watsonville farm, that’s the Watsonville Area Water Recycling Project at work. By using recycled water, we’re helping to conserve local resources and slow down seawater intrusion. Our plants also benefit from nutrients in the recycled water, so we can use fewer commercial fertilizers.

We hold a prestigious MPS-A rating—the highest possible—for the sustainability and low environmental impact of all our Pacific Northwest greens.

Many of our pickers draw on decades of experience as they slowly work their way through the rows on our farms. Each stem is selected, cut, and graded by hand, and then graded a second time as it’s packed.

We always envision our greens as they’ll ultimately appear in an arrangement, each with is own texture and line—so we make sure to send only the very best to our customers.
